What is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document issued by a mineral supplier that reports the laboratory test results for a specific batch of product. It confirms that the material meets the agreed specification and provides the actual measured values for parameters such as CaCO₃ content, brightness, moisture, and particle size.
Which COA parameters matter most?
For paint applications, brightness and CaCO₃ content are the most critical parameters. Low brightness dulls white and pastel shades. For rubber and PVC, moisture content is critical — high moisture causes processing problems. For food and pharmaceutical applications, purity and iron oxide content are tightly controlled.
SK Stardust Industries issues a full, batch-specific COA with every shipment. Request a sample COA before placing your first order.
